The GMC Canyon is available in four trims: Elevation, AT4, AT4X, and Denali.
Interior Features
Comfort and convenience features range from trim to trim, with the base Elevation coming with keyless entry, push-button start, air conditioning, and vinyl upholstery. Optional interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
Performance
The GMC Canyon makes a single engine available, which doesn't slouch on the power. The standard engine is a 2.7-liter inline-4 turbocharged powertrain that makes 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Two-wheel drive is standard while four-wheel drive is optional. The AT4 and AT4X trims offers a long list of performance and off-road upgrades. The AT4X, in particular, comes with locking front/rear differentials, a retuned suspension, increased skid plates, and more aggressive mud-terrain tires.
Technology
If tech is on your mind, then you can look forward to impressive standard features with the GMC Canyon. The GMC Canyon comes standard with an 11.3-inch touchscreen display, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and a 6-speaker audio system. The AT4X trim also makes some tech upgrades, offering up a head-up display, a Bose premium sound system, and an 11-inch digital instrument cluster.
