Performance
The Chevy Suburban manages three engine options, with the base engine being a 5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. There's also an optional 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 420 horsepower/ 460 pound-feet of torque. Beyond this, there's an optional diesel 3.0-liter inline-6 engine. The Z71 trim is an adventure-forward version of the Chevy Suburban that comes with all-terrain tires, two-speed transfer case, hill descent control, and front skid plates.
Technology
Technology is robust regardless of the trim selected. The base LS trim level includes an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The LT trim comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen while the High Country trim adds a head-up display and a digital rearview mirror. There's an optional rear entertainment system, too.
Interior Features
Standard comfort features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power adjustable front seats, and seating for eight. The LT trim adds heated front seats, leather seats, a hands-free liftgate, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Premier trim adds second-row bucket seats and ventilated front seats. Optional interior features include a panoramic sunroof and an air suspension.
Safety
All trim levels of the Chevy Suburban come with a bundle of driver assistance features. This bundle includes forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, and parking sensors.
